Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Food Service Worker to deliver high quality dining experiences and meet dietary needs in a hospital setting. You will maintain sanitation across the kitchen, dining areas and equipment, while practicing safe food handling throughout the operation.

Qualified candidates will have basic computer skills, fluency in English, and a High School Diploma or GED. Certification as a Food Handlers is required within 30 days of hire for Illinois facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Certified Food Handlers Certification within 30 days for IL facilities.

Expected pay for this position is $17.00 - $18.89/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Practices safe food handling processes while receiving, storing, preparing and serving food throughout the operation.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic computer competency specific to software navigation. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED. 6 months of experience in customer service. Licensure/Certifications: Certified Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire for facilities in Illinois.
