Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Food Service Worker to provide a high quality dining experience by delivering dietary and nutritional needs to patients and visitors. The role requires maintaining sanitation of kitchen spaces and serving food with safe handling practices.

The position is hourly and requires English fluency, with a preference for a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English fluently.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• Illinois facilities require Certified Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire.

Expected pay for this position is $17.00 - $18.89/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Practices safe food handling processes while receiving, storing, preparing and serving food throughout the operation.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic computer competency specific to software navigation. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED. 6 months of experience in customer service. Licensure/Certifications: Certified Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire for facilities in Illinois.
