Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Food Service Worker to deliver a high quality dining experience and meet dietary needs for patients and visitors. You will maintain sanitation across kitchen, dining room, and related areas, while complying with safety and food-handling procedures.

The role is hourly, with a pay range of $17.00–$18.89 per hour, determined by experience and internal equity. 13-week mock training and certification requirements may apply in Illinois.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Basic computer competency, read/write/speak English fluently.
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED; 6 months in customer service.
• Licensure: Certified Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high quality dining experience by meeting dietary and nutritional needs; ensure safety and service standards.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen utensils, equipment, dining areas, and storage areas.
