Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation; maintain cash receipts and meal records; assist in completing daily reports; and uphold high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu
• Prepare daily transaction reports
• Understand meal inclusions
• Store food accurately and hygienically
• Serve food according to schedules and policies
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives
• Prepare a variety of food items, beverages, timely and efficiently
• Add garnishments for presentation and customer satisfaction
• Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen equipment
• Follow food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage
• Adhere to uniform policy
• Coordinate with the manager to understand daily menu requirements
• Supervise food temperature requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work and storage areas
• Clean counters, sanitize equipment, and maintain sanitation standards
• Perform duties such as sweeping, mopping, and ware washing
• Manage garbage and kitchen floor areas hygienically
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas
• This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
