Pay Range

This range is provided by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience. Discuss with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$17.60/hr - $20.54/hr

Summary

This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT. The initial cut-off date for referring eligible applications is May 23, 2025. Applicants will be referred on an "as needed" basis thereafter.

The announcement remains open through July 25, 2025, but may be extended. Vacancies may exist at various locations and will be notified at the time of referral.

Duties

• Clean serving areas and food service equipment.
• Sanitize production equipment using appropriate techniques.
• Operate dishwashers and washing stations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Transport trays and assist patients with meal delivery.
• Set up and stock serving areas.
• Identify discrepancies in diets and allergies.
• Assemble items in cold food prep areas and make sandwiches.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
