The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s South in Overland Park is currently seeking a food service worker to provide excellent customer service to patients and their families efficiently. As part of our nutrition team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring patients receive the nutrition necessary for their recovery. Our focus is on patient care, and your interactions can positively impact their experience, supporting Saint Luke’s mission: The Best Place to Get Care. The Best Place to Give Care.

The Shift:

• 40 hours per week
• Saturdays and Sundays required
• 10:45 AM to 7:15 PM

The Work:

• Handling, preparing, and serving food according to menus and sanitation standards
• Preparing cafeteria food and delivering it to customers
• Restocking supplies in the cafeteria
• Maintaining cleanliness of work areas, dishes, and equipment
• Managing inventory, product rotation, labeling, and safe food handling to ensure availability
• Supporting cashier and dishwasher duties as needed

We seek individuals enthusiastic about working with people, with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, flexibility, independence, eagerness to learn, and teamwork orientation. Ability to stand all day is required.
