Job Description

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s North in Kansas City is currently looking for a food service worker to quickly and efficiently provide excellent customer service to our patients and their families. As a member of our nutrition team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the nutrition they need for their healing. Our priority is patient care, and your interaction with patients provides an opportunity to bring positivity to their day, ensuring that Saint Luke’s is The Best Place to Get Care. The Shift:

• 40 hours per week
• Rotating weekends
• 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

The Work:

• Handling, preparing, and serving food in accordance with written menu and sanitation regulations.
• Preparing cafeteria food service and delivering food to customers.
• Restocking cafeteria supplies.
• Maintaining sanitation of work areas, dishes, and equipment.
• Maintaining inventory control, product rotation, labeling, and safe food handling practices.
• Assisting in other cashier and dishwasher responsibilities as necessary.

We are looking for someone excited about working with people, with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, willingness to work, flexibility, ability to work independently, eagerness to learn, and being a team player. Must be able to stand all day.
