We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Supervisor responsible for supervising inmate labor and team members in a correctional facility's food service operation. The role involves preparing and serving a variety of food items efficiently and accurately, following work instructions and menus, and utilizing food preparation utensils and machines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise inmate labor and team members during food prep and service shifts.
2. Prepare and assist in preparing quality foods according to menus and recipes.
3. Ensure proper storage and sanitation of all food items.
4. Serve food during scheduled meal times following policies and procedures.
5. Utilize kitchen equipment safely and effectively, ensuring proper portioning and nutritional standards.
6. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen environment.
7. Train new food service staff and promote a safe work environment.
8. Perform related duties as assigned, including physical tasks like lifting and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Preferred: Experience in institutional or restaurant food service.
