The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation; maintain cash receipts and meal records. Assist the manager in completing daily reports. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu
• Prepare daily transaction verification reports
• Understand meal inclusivity
• Ensure accurate and sanitary food storage
• Serve food according to schedules and policies
• Use and care for kitchen equipment, especially knives
• Timely preparation of various food items and beverages
• Add garnishments for customer satisfaction and visual appeal
• Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen equipment
• Follow food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage
• Adhere to the uniform policy
• Coordinate with the manager daily to prepare the menu
• Supervise food temperature requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Clean and sanitize counters, steam tables, and other equipment
• Follow cleanliness standards, including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing
• Maintain garbage and kitchen floor areas in a sanitary manner
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas
• This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
