About This Position

The Food Service Supervisor supervises inmate labor and team members in the food service operation within a correctional facility. Responsibilities include preparing and serving a variety of food items according to menus and work instructions, and utilizing food preparation utensils and machines.

• Supervise inmate labor and team members during food prep and service

• Train other food service workers
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and equipment
• Follow uniform and safety policies
• Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, at least 18 years old
• Preferred: Experience in institutional food service or restaurants
