A leading organization seeks a food service worker in Kansas City to prepare meals for children in a behavioral health care setting. The role involves managing food arrangements and ensuring cleanliness in the serving area. Candidates should preferably have a high school diploma or GED and some experience in food services. Must be 20 years old to apply. Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required.
Pay Rate : $15-$17 per hour depending on education and experience.
Education Requirements :
High school diploma or GED preferred. Completion of 10th grade required.
Licensure / Certification :
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Experience Requirements :
One to three months experience or training in the food service industry, including food preparation and storage.
The food service worker will prepare meals for children in Camber’s care. The environment resembles a small school lunchroom for children with behavioral health issues. Duties include arranging food and beverages on steam tables, a la carte trays, or mobile carts; cleaning utensils, cooking, and storage equipment; and sanitizing serving areas daily. Shift is Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm.
