Southcoast Health is seeking a Food Service Worker for per diem shifts at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. The role supports the main kitchen and Nutrition Services, with day and evening shifts and weekend/holiday rotation to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up all stations and perform station duties in the main kitchen.
• Break down stations and ensure cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and surfaces.
• Correctly date, label, and rotate food items prior to storage or sale.
• Use proper utensils to ensure accurate portions; perform other duties as assigned.

We are searching for a talented Food Service Worker

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Day/Evening shift, 6:30am - 3:00pm / 4:00pm - 8:00pm with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Position reports to the Manager Culinary or Operations Manager, Food & Nutrition Services or designee. Provide support for the main kitchen of the Food & Nutrition Department including set up all stations and perform positions, break down stations completely ensuring they are cleaned and sanitized. Perform floor stock procedures. Clean and sanitize equipment, and food surfaces according to procedures. Assure that all food items are accurately dated, labeled, and rotated prior to storage and or placed for sale. Use proper utensils to ensure accurate portions. Performs other reasonable duties as assigned

• Experience with proper food safety/sanitary procedures are preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $16.32 - USD $22.94 /Hr.
