Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Cashier - Retail at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. The role supports the Food & Nutrition Retail areas, performing cashier duties, station setup, and sanitation.

The position requires adherence to food safety practices and a willingness to be vaccinated or obtain a medical/personal exemption with documentation. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing equipment, dating and labeling food items, portion controls, and

• Ability to follow written instructions.
• Experience with proper food safety/sanitary procedures are preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to exempt from vaccination once hired

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the Retail areas of the Food & Nutrition Department including Cashier Duties set up all stations and perform positions, break down stations completely ensuring they are cleaned and sanitized.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, and food surfaces according to procedures.
• Assure that all food items are accurately dated, labeled, and rotated prior to storage and or placed for sale.
• Use proper utensils to ensure accurate portions.
• Performs other reasonable duties as assigned

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Day/Evening shift, 6:00am - 2:30pm, 3:30pm - 7:00pm with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.
