Job summary

Shift Type: 35 hours/Full-Time

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS :

This position involves the responsibility of performing routine manual tasks relative to the preparation and service of food , and the operation and maintenance of a Cafeteria and Preparation Kitchen . The work is performed under general supervision in accordance with the instructions of a Senior Food Service Worker . Does related work as required .

TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES : ( Illustrative only )

• Cleans , pares , slices and prepares food for cooking or baking ;
• Assists in preparing sandwiches , salads , desserts and other foods ;
