Job summary

Corporate Chefs, a dining services provider, is hiring a Food Service Worker for its Mitre-Bedford location. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:30am to 2:00pm, with no nights or weekends, and weekly pay plus full benefits.

You will prepare, serve, and distribute food, primarily at the salad bar, and may work across tray line, dish room, cafeteria, and storeroom as needed. Prior food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knife skills with bench test as part of evaluation.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge.
• Clear communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add a motivated Food Service Worker to our Corporate Dining team at Mitre! As a food service worker, you will have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks, learn a variety of skills, and interact with a diverse clientele daily in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Salad Bar position, preparing, serving, and distributing food, and may require working in various areas of the department, such as the tray line, dish room, cafeteria and storeroom.
• This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
• Prep Salad Items & Then Serve Deli at Lunch

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• Knife Skills - this position requires a knife cutting bench test
• Must possess strong interpersonal and customer skills.
• Have excellent attention to details and service knowledge.
• Have excellent communication and organization skills.

Nice-to-haves:

• Prior food service experience is preferred.
