Today, Texas NeuroRehab Center provides complex medical and brain injury rehab for ages years and older and neurobehavioral residential treatment services for children and adolescents. The capabilities of the facility as a whole allow for integrated and specialized care for children, adolescents, and adults facing difficult challenges.

Qualifications
The following are the job requirements for the Food Service Worker.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Knowledge of quantity food preparation. Ability to read and write in English.
Education: High School diploma or GED.
Licensure / Certification: Current Driver’s License or State issued ID.
Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in a high-volume, food production setting. Experience in a hospital setting preparing special diets is preferred.
Physical / General Requirements: Ability to sustain physical activity; on feet eight hours per day. Ability to drive safely to operate a golf cart. Ability to use hands to operate food service equipment including mixers, slicers, fryers, blenders, etc. Frequent kneeling, stooping, bending, squatting. Frequent lifting and carrying up to pounds without assistance or buddy-lift up to pounds. Frequent reaching overhead. Constant use of hands. Ability to write legibly, read, and understand English to document temperatures, operate equipment, read recipes, labels on chemical bottles, and understand hazard labels on chemical containers and material safety data sheets. Regular and expected attendance. Emotional stability necessary to perform essential functions and deal with changing priorities. Ability to tolerate weather changes during deliveries and temperature differences when entering or leaving buildings or walk-in refrigerated storage. Ability to see, speak, and hear to communicate effectively with staff, patients, visitors, and others, to ensure safety and perform essential job functions.
