Job Details
  • We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time FOOD SERVICE UTILITY positions.
  • Location: Sharon Hospital - 50 Hospital Hill Road, Sharon, CT 06069. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules; days may vary, rotating weekends required. Shifts between 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Prior food service experience is preferred.
  • Pay Rate: $16.35 per hour.

Job Summary

Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
  • Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
  • Removes trash, cleans garbage cans, and maintains sanitation.
  • Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
  • Assists with banquet setup and front-of-house arrangements.
  • Loads, unloads, and delivers supplies and products.
  • Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
  • Follows sanitation and safety requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
