Job Details

1. Position: Full-time FOOD SERVICE UTILITY
2. Location: One State Street Cafe - 1 State Street, Hartford, CT 06102. Note: online applications accepted only.
3. Schedule: Monday through Friday; 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. More details upon interview.
4. Requirement: Prior dishwashing experience preferred.
5. Pay Range: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Maintains kitchen work areas, keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash, steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Loads/unloads and delivers supplies and products.
• Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Follows sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
