University Health is seeking a Food Service staff member to prepare and serve patient meals, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards.
The role requires basic reading, writing and arithmetic, with Spanish language skills preferred. High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, and at least six months of health care, cafeteria, or restaurant food service experience is favored.
Carries out routine tasks necessary in preparing and serving foods required for patients. Assures competent, efficient and timely performance of duties and assignments when complying with University Healthand Food Service Department policies and safety, hygiene and sanitation regulations for proper care and use of foods, supplies and equipment. Must meet established daily deadlines with accuracy and quality performance. Maintains excellent guest and working relations.
The ability to read, write and speak English and do simple arithmetic is required. Spanish speaking is preferred. High School graduation or its equivalent is preferred. Six months of health care, cafeteria, or restaurant food service experience is preferred.
