Job summary

Food City in Maynardville, Tennessee is seeking a Food Service Associate to support our mission to “Run the Best Store in Town.” You will greet customers, provide friendly service, and help prepare food for the Food Service department as needed.

You'll maintain a clean workstation, assist in stocking and rotation, follow the Food Safety program, and work closely with team members to ensure fast, courteous service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and perform routine tasks.
• On-site attendance during scheduled shifts is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, courteous customer service at all times.
• Greet customers and maintain a customer-first atmosphere.
• Prepare all food for the Food Service department per guidelines.
• Prepare grill orders and slice meats and cheeses.
• Keep workstation clean and organized; assist with stocking and rotation.
