Job summary

Primrose School of Aldie is hiring a Food Service Teacher with a focus on school nutrition. You will prepare delicious, nutritious meals to fuel children's learning and growth, while following safety and allergy considerations.

You will help with menu planning, order ingredients, and lead a small kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality meals in a daycare setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation and kitchen management.
• Strong skills in inventory management and control.
• Ability to manage food service and catering operations.
• Experience in supervising and leading kitchen teams.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and food production.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals following the daily menu and safety protocols.
• Assist with ordering food and calculating quantities needed.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, rotate stock, and manage waste.
• Lead kitchen staff during service and ensure high food quality.
