Job summary

Primrose School of Sandy Springs North is seeking a Food Service Teacher - School Chef to prepare delicious, nutritious meals for young learners, manage kitchen operations, and ensure safety, allergy awareness, and quality control in every dish.

You will follow the daily menu, assist with ordering and portioning, contribute to a warm, caring school culture, and collaborate with teachers to support healthy growth and energy for play, learning, and exploration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation and kitchen management.
• Strong skills in inventory management and control.
• Ability to manage food service and catering operations.
• Experience in supervising and leading kitchen teams.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and food production.

• Encouraging healthy eating habits through delicious and nutritious foods
• Maintaining a keen awareness of children who have allergies and food restrictions
• Following the daily menu prepared in collaboration with or by the Director
