Responsibilities
Basic Function/Scope

The Food Service Supervisor is a key leader responsible for cash operations, proper food assembly and service, sanitation, safety, and supervising retail associates.

Essential Functions
  • Manage cash handling and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including inventory, cash, and production reports.
  • Assist with menu planning and ordering using company programs.
  • Participate in selecting and onboarding new associates; oversee training.
  • Develop and post work schedules for associates.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and health regulations, and company policies related to food safety, safety, and loss prevention.
Client and Customer Satisfaction/Relations
  • Maintain high client satisfaction to ensure account retention.
  • Ensure adherence to client contracts.
  • Follow up on customer, client, and associate surveys.
  • Prepare and manage a monthly, weekly, and daily events calendar.
Program Quality and Standards
  • Ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Provide positive feedback to staff on successful program implementation.
  • Meet all quality and service standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Encourage innovation within company standards.
Business Growth and Marketing
  • Implement and adhere to marketing programs.
  • Identify new sales and revenue opportunities.
Financial Management
  • Achieve financial goals for retail areas.
  • Control expenses and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage staffing and productivity for cash operations.
  • Monitor cash control processes and conduct semi-annual contribution analysis.
Leadership and Managerial Skills
  • Promote company culture and values.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and staff.
  • Maintain contact with staff and customers through Management by Walking Around.
  • Foster teamwork and professionalism.
