Job summary

Southeast Missouri Residential Services, a State of Missouri facility in Sikeston, seeks a Support Care Assistant to provide one-on-one client care and support daily living activities. Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Pass background screening.
• Knowledge of basic nursing, first aid and emergency treatments.
• Ability to work with clients with various disabilities and ages.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on, direct care to clients including observations, treatment, and monitoring.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Develop and implement habilitation or treatment plans.
• Maintain records of fluid intake and output; monitor vital signs.
