Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and the kitchen team inside a correctional facility. You will prep and serve a variety of meals following established menus and use a range of kitchen equipment.

The role reports to a Food Service Director and is performed on-site within the jail facility, requiring flexibility and teamwork to meet changing needs and menus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Prior institutional food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen staff during shifts.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and procedures.
• Use utensils and equipment to cook food according to recipes.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for staff and inmates.
• Physical tasks include lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking and standing for long periods.
