Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and a team in a correctional facility’s kitchen. You will prepare and serve a variety of foods following menus and use a range of utensils and machines to complete tasks.

The role reports to a Food Service Director and operates on-site inside a jail setting. Candidates should be passionate about food, understand handling regulations, and be prepared to train others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes and portions to meet nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for other employees/inmates.
