Job summary

The Food Service Supervisor at Trinity Services Group oversees inmate labor and team members in the correctional food service operation. You will prepare and serve a variety of items following menus and use a range of kitchen utensils and equipment to prepare meals.

You will report to a Food Service Director and work onsite inside a jail/correctional facility. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to food handling regulations with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and you must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and service shifts.
• Serve food according to planned meal schedules and department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook and portion meals to meet nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for employees and inmates.
• Stand, lift, bend, and walk for extended periods as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the facility.
