Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen teams in a correctional facility, preparing meals per menus and recipes. You will report to a Food Service Director and work on-site inside a jail.

The ideal candidate cares about food and service, understands food handling regulations, and thrives in a team, adaptable to change and flexible in duties.

Qualifications

• We require a high school diploma or GED, and that you are at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes and portion controls.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for other employees/inmates.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for extended periods.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
