Global Partners is looking for a Food Service Supervisor / Deli Lead. Our Fresh Food Supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising all activities in the deli and food service department and its personnel to achieve merchandising, sales, and guest service goals established for the department.

- Direct department personnel, meeting department goals and objectives, communicating directly with store management and department supervisors.
- Selecting, onboarding, and coaching all new team members.
- Scheduling all team members.
- Offer product information, provide selling suggestions, active sampling, and always give a genuine thank you.
- Take guest orders, ensure orders are completed on time and to the guest's satisfaction.
- Ensure department personnel follow all county, city, and company food safety and sanitation guidelines and policies.
- Order the products and supplies necessary to maintain adequate stock levels and keep merchandising levels at prescribed standards.
- Oversee the preparation and serving/merchandising of deli/food service items, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner entrees, fried foods, pizzas, salads, soups, sandwiches, roller grill items, beverages, and snacks.
- Display deli and food service items following merchandising guidelines.
- Follow product recipes without deviation.
- Rotate deli/food service items for sale, ensuring quality, safety, and product shrink control.
- Receive merchandise, audit invoices, break down orders, and organize storage areas.
- Periodically count products for inventory purposes.
- Complete all paperwork accurately and timely.
- Process cash register transactions, give change, and handle refunds.
- Use scale and printer machines accurately for weights and pricing.
- Monitor product pricing, signage, placement, and shelf tags.
- Keep sales counters, food prep areas, warehouse shelving, and walk-in coolers and freezers clean and organized.
- Ensure all personnel use proper safety equipment and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Work with deli ingredients, including meats, vegetables, fruits, spices, nuts, sauces, and oils.

Additional Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- At least 18 years old.
- Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and evenings, and assist other locations.
- 2 years of experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role.
- Reliable transportation and active driver's license.
- Serv-safe certification preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Work in walk-in coolers and freezers.
- Stand for long periods, bend, twist, and lift/maneuver merchandise and supplies.
- Use necessary equipment like knives, slicers, ovens, and fryers.
