Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor (Shift Supervisor) to oversee kitchen operations inside a jail/correctional facility. You will lead inmate workers, prepare meals according to recipes and standards, and ensure safety and cleanliness in the kitchen.

Reporting to the Food Service Director, you will train staff, maintain quality and efficiency, and adapt to changing needs in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Institutional food service experience is a plus.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen team during food prep and service shifts.
• Prepare a variety of food items following recipes and standards.
• Follow housekeeping and safety practices in meal preparation and serving.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
