Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a full-time Food Service Supervisor to lead our kitchen team, coordinate with the manager, and ensure quality, safety, and timely meal production in a correctional facility. You will oversee staff, schedule production, monitor inventory, and train team members while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.

Night and weekend catering events may occur; strong organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course during first year.
• Knowledge of operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain staff schedules and production packets.
• Direct daily activities and oversee food production.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and proper storage.
• Maintain inventories and prepare orders as needed.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff; promote teamwork.
• Conduct training and ensure logs and preventative maintenance are completed.
