Job summary

California Department of State Hospitals – Napa is seeking a Full-Time Food Service Supervisor II in the Nutrition Services Department. Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and standardizes the serving of food in dining and kitchen areas.
• Supervises and instructs staff in sanitary and safe distribution and service of food.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and work areas.
• Oversees safety of staff and patient workers in kitchen and dining areas.
• Assists with supervision of patient workers as needed.
• Provides instructions to staff to ensure knowledge of and compliance with the patients’ Treatment Plan.
• Incumbents ensure public property is protected and safe.
• Responds to emergencies as trained in Therapeutic Strategies and Interventions (TSI).
