Job summary

Sodexo at Clarke University in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Food Supervisor to oversee daily food service operations on-site, coordinating fast casual, coffee, cafeterias, events, and banquets. You will work with management to supervise service staff, ensure safety, train employees, and maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1 or more years of related work experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business.
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees.
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
