Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to join the Northern Regional Jail’s Food Services Team in Moundsville, WV. You will oversee staff, coordinate daily activities, and ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards while supporting catering events and daily meals.

You will work closely with the Food Service Director, participate in meetings, and help maintain schedules, inventories, and logs.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and production sheets/recipes.
• Direct daily activities of staff.
• Maintain food safety and quality according to policies and procedures.
• Ensure safe, organized storage of food items.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel and promote growth and morale.
• Train and mentor other food service workers.
• Maintain logs for equipment maintenance and food safety/temperature checks.
• Perform other duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager.
