Job Description

1. Trains and supervises personnel who assemble patient food trays and food truck delivery to the patient units.
2. Directs personnel who fill the plates on patient trays to ensure proper food allocation and garnishing.
3. Trains and supervises cafeteria, catering, and utility personnel.
4. Conducts in-service instruction.
5. Completes forms for and monitors employee attendance and performance.
6. Conducts routine sanitation and food safety surveillance to ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory standards regarding food handling, safety, distribution, packaging, storing, labeling, dating, and serving.
7. Maintains logs and records of performance and compliance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; 3-5 years of related experience; ServSafe Manager Certification within 3 months of hire. Analytical skills to resolve daily supervisory problems.
