Trinity Services Group seeks a Food Service Supervisor to manage inmate labor and kitchen operations onsite. You will prepare and serve a variety of food items following menus and instructions, using standard equipment.

Reports to the Food Service Director and works inside a jail/correctional facility. The role requires weekends/holidays as needed, with a schedule including Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

• Oversee inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and service shifts.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook and portion foods per recipes and nutritional requirements.
• Train other food service workers.

About This Position

Schedule

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 7:30am-6pm

The Food Service Supervisor oversees inmate labor and team members assisting with the food service operation in a correctional facility. You will also prepare and serve a variety of food items following assigned work instructions and menus and use a variety of food preparation utensils and machines in preparing food. You will report to a Food Service Director. You will work onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts in the kitchen.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes. Use proper utensils to serve menued portions to meet clients' nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for other employees/inmates.
• Physical demands include items such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You’ll Need

• Required:
