Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Location: Forensic Treatment Center – South Campus, 5300 Arsenal St, St. Louis, MO 63139

St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center - South provides specialized care for clients diagnosed with mental illness. We are seeking a positive and energetic Food Service Supervisor interested in helping individuals with mental illness maximize their potential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Food Service Workers
• Create and monitor weekly work assignments for staff
• Assist Food Service Workers as needed
• Oversee preparation of hot food items and tray service in the cafeteria and carryout
• Complete necessary paperwork related to quality assurance
• Understand specialized diets and food safety standards
• Maintain sanitization principles and prepare for surveys through routine walk-throughs

Eligibility Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience or training in food service or equivalent
• Ability to read and follow recipes
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Dependability and attention to detail
• Completion of a 6-month probationary period
• No disciplinary actions in the past 12 months (for current Missouri applicants)
• Willingness to receive Hepatitis A vaccination
