Job summary

The Monarch at Brooklyn Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a reliable and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our dietary team on a part-time basis. This hands-on leadership role focuses on delivering high-quality meals and a superior dining experience for residents.

Ideal candidates have prior food service supervision experience, preferably in healthcare, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service supervision, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting.
• Knowledge of dietary regulations and food safety standards (ServSafe certification preferred).
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the dietary department during assigned shifts
• Oversee meal preparation, service, and sanitation standards
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
• Support, train, and guide dietary staff
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation
• Collaborate with clinical staff to accommodate residents’ dietary needs and restrictions
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment

The Monarch at Brooklyn Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a reliable and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our dietary team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about providing high-quality meals and ensuring an excellent dining experience for our residents.

Food Service Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations of the dietary department during assigned shifts
