Global Partner’s is looking for a Food Service Supervisor/ Deli Lead. Our Fresh Food’s Supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising all activities in the deli and food service department and its personnel to achieve merchandising, sales, and guest service goals established for the department.

  • Direct department personnel, meet department goals, and communicate with store management and supervisors.
  • Onboard and coach new team members.
  • Schedule team members.
  • Offer product information, suggest sales, and actively sample products, always expressing gratitude.
  • Take guest orders, ensure timely completion, and satisfy guests.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines and policies.
  • Order products and supplies to maintain stock and merchandising standards.
  • Oversee the preparation and merchandising of deli/food service items, including entrees, fried foods, pizzas, salads, soups, sandwiches, roller grill items, beverages, and snacks.
  • Display items per company merchandising guidelines.
  • Follow recipes accurately.
  • Rotate deli/food items for quality, safety, and shrink control.
  • Receive merchandise, audit invoices, organize storage, and manage inventory counts.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Process transactions, give change, and handle refunds.
  • Ensure correct weights and pricing with scale printers.
  • Monitor product pricing, signage, and placement.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of counters, prep areas, and storage.
  • Ensure safety procedures and equipment are used properly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Flexible to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and assist other locations.
  • 2+ years in a fresh foods environment, preferably with managerial experience.
  • Reliable transportation and active driver’s license.
  • Serv-safe certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Work in coolers and freezers.
  • Stand for long periods, bend, lift, and maneuver merchandise.
  • Dexterity to use equipment like knives, slicers, ovens, and fryers.
