The Cherokee Mental Health Institute (CMHI), part of the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services, is hiring a full-time Food Service Worker. The role supports the diet line, checks deliveries, follows recipes, and assists in pre-prep and cafeteria setup. You will help maintain sanitation, operate kitchen equipment, and provide friendly service to staff and patients.

Working hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Formación

• Background check required.
• Knowledge of methods and practices of food preparation and service.
• Care and use of food service utensils and equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the diet line area and check in food deliveries for quality.
• Follow recipes and assist in pre-prep.
• Assist in cafeteria setup, washing and putting away dishes, and cleaning equipment.
