Responsibilities

• Prepares ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and weighing vegetables and fruits; measures items.
• Transports pans, kettles, and trays safely between workstations, stoves, and refrigerators.
• Stores food properly, rotates stock using FIFO practices, and follows dating procedures.
• Uses recipes and standards to ensure food quality, temperatures, and portions.
• Maintains clean, safe work areas and proper sanitation.
• Sets up and monitors serving line, records temperatures, and notifies chef of deviations.
• Serves hot and cold items to customers with professionalism.
• Stocks pantry items and logs refrigerator temperatures daily.
• Assists in meal tray prep and delivery to designated areas as needed.
