Applegreen Group, a national operator with a network of travel plazas, seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure exceptional service, and maintain brand standards. The role includes cash handling, staff training, and adherence to food safety procedures.

You will supervise team members, handle POS transactions, manage opening/closing duties, and help ensure smooth operations across the plaza. Flexible scheduling and a focus on guest experience are essential.

Formación

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with customers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments following cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling: wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks: prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and company policies.
• Inform leadership of observations or issues.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
