Qualifications

• Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an associate degree in food service administration or nutrition and one (1) year of food service experience
• OR three (3) years of food service experience in an institutional setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the preparation of food carts
• Supervises the preparation of sandwiches, bread and coffee
• Supervises and inspects the cleanup of the dining and kitchen areas
• Supervises the cleaning of dishes and pots and pans
• Prepares schedules of workers for the various shifts
• Prepares breakfasts in the main kitchen
• Keeps records and prepares work schedules
