Job summary

Navylifesw is seeking personnel to support the Navy Food and Beverage Division in food preparation and service. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, keeping service areas clean, and applying sanitation standards to prevent contamination.

The role requires ability to follow both verbal and written instructions and to pass food service screening and training; a basic understanding of sanitation procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform tasks involving several procedures.
• Knowledge of food handling techniques and portion control.
• Have ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must have a working knowledge or ability to learn sanitation standards.
• Working knowledge of procedures to prevent contamination, such as cleaning equipment previously used for raw food before further use and maintaining proper water temperature when cleaning dishes.
• Must be able to pass food service screening and training.
