The City of Dayton is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily preparation, cooking and serving of meals for students, staff and visitors in our school facilities. This position requires strong HACCP knowledge, accuracy with reports, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced educational environment.

You will ensure compliance with department standards and federal guidelines, maintain HACCP records, manage inventory and training, and coordinate with the Civil Service

Formación

• Graduation from high school (or G.E.D.) and 3 years of applicable commercial food service experience.
• Must obtain Level II Sanitation, CPR and ServeSafe certifications within 6 months of appointment.
• Effective verbal and written communication required; ability to lift 40 lb and stand for long periods.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises the preparation, cooking and serving of all food and supplies to students, staff and visitors.
• Completes and reviews register reports and cash deposit/cash-related reports and logs.
• Trains and cross-trains staff in kitchen, storeroom and service procedures.
• Estimates ingredients, conducts monthly inventory, and submits time and attendance records.
