Description

Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and School in Wayzata is seeking a Food Service Manager to join our team. This full-time position is responsible for coordinating the school lunch program. This includes coordinating all aspects of planning, preparation and service of food for the lunch program. Candidate will need to obtain food manager certification. This is a full-time, 40 hour/week, 10-month position; benefits eligible.

Holy Name of Jesus School provides academic excellence in a preschool through sixth grade Catholic School while proclaiming, celebrating and living the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Observe the menu and make adjustments as necessary.
• Direct staff and volunteers to best assist in food production, serving and clean up.
• Inventory kitchen equipment and supplies.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working in the food industry.
• Have a current Food Service Manager and Serv Safe Certificate, or willingness to obtain.
• Understanding and acceptance of Catholic doctrine.
• Possess strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to connect, collaborate, and work with others as a team.
