Camp Lake Hubert is a premier traditional summer camp for girls, founded in 1927, and is the sister camp of Camp Lincoln. With over 100 years of family-owned operation, our traditions have been carried on for four generations. Located in the Great Northwoods of Minnesota, 2 ½ hours north of Minneapolis/St. Paul, we serve a diverse group of campers and staff from across the country and beyond. We are committed to excellence in camping and providing opportunities for personal growth.
The Food Service Manager will guide the Food Service Staff, coordinate meal planning and preparation to meet the needs of campers and staff, including those with dietary restrictions such as gluten-free, vegetarian, allergies, and religious observances. Our team of 14 provides three meals per day to over 300 campers and staff throughout the season. Our kitchen offerings include salad bars, balanced meals, international influences, creative theme days, and classic camp staples. Expect a variety of menu items, from chicken nuggets and tater tots to picadillo, Caesar salad wraps, and quiche.
The Food Service Manager will also ensure a clean and safe workplace, collaborate with Camp Leadership on menus, supervise Food Service Staff—including scheduling, tasks, and performance—and oversee supply ordering and deliveries. The position reports to the camp's directors.
The 2025 season runs from mid-May to mid-August, with opportunities to extend into the post-camp season.
