Job summary

ShopRite of Hazlet, NJ, is seeking a Food Service Manager to direct and supervise all Food Service Department functions, driving sales, profitability, and customer experience under the direction of the General Store Manager.

You will lead safety, presentation, and efficiency initiatives, ensuring HACCP compliance, training, and strong teamwork with department staff. Excellent customer service and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English and perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for entire shift and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products and adapt to temperature changes.
• Willingness to follow safety policies and learn HACCP/HAZCOM.
• Strong teamwork and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all Food Service Department functions to meet goals.
• Ensure safety and compliance with all regulations and company policies.
• Greet customers and provide courteous service; promote promotions.
• Onboard and train new Associates; provide feedback.
• Maintain department appearance, pricing, and stock.
