Job summary

You will guide execution, plan tastings, coach employees, and maintain stock according to planograms while controlling waste and shrink. Strong communication in English is essential; French is a plus. This is a full-time, in-store position with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in FMCG retail or Foodservice.
• Experience in training, leadership and team building.
• Strong English communication; French helpful in Quebec.
• Food safety certification (ServSafe/NRFSP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Food category expert in store; ensure food operations maximize sales and minimize waste.
• Train and coach associates on food execution, production, replenishment, ordering, organization, sanitization and customer service.
• Be the go-to person for employees with questions related to food products and services.
• Plan and execute food sampling for employees and customers.
• Lead in-store training for foodservice programs and trainer programs.
• Ensure foodservice areas are stocked and rotated using FIFO.
• Display food items according to current planogram.
• Assist in ordering to reduce out-of-stocks and shrink.
• Monitor shrink and maximize foodservice profit.
• Collaborate with BUQAS training personnel to deliver programs.
• Follow food safety practices and BUQAS recommendations.
• Operate within budgeted expectations.
