Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist in food prep, portion meals, and serve customers under manager guidance. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.

The position involves operating in a kitchen environment, maintaining food safety, and supporting daily service with potential involvement in concessions and special events. Training will be provided, and performance will impact guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Great customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Requires frequent lifting/transporting hot food items.
• Ability to work inside kitchen area with heated equipment, steam, loud noise, chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of and assist in preparation of food items for the day and dating products.
• Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations designated by the manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Use accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs.
• Take samples of all food items on the line prior to serving.
• Alert management and pull items not meeting quality expectations.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists.
• Greet customers and handle complaints with a positive attitude.
